My Birthday

Hey!
Tomorrow is my birthday, not that it's too important for those of you reading this who don't even know me. Anyway, I plan on submitting part or all of Chapter 1 of Urban Sword this week sometime. Hopefully it won't be any later than this Friday.

Urban Sword

Jamie faces danger as she finds a place of her own. She just graduated from high school and her Aunt Liza asked her to come down to Italy and stay with her for a year. Of course, Jamie accepted, being as she was a true Italian and had never been to Italy before. Once she gets there, she finds that Italy isn't exactly the safest place to be despite what her Aunt Liza said. She finds that Italy is full of vampires, werewolves, wizards, faeries, and all sorts of different unknown "creatures." She doesn't know what to do, because she has never experienced something so overwhelming before. She comes face-to-face with a vampire who begins to fall for her, though she is oblivious to that fact. There is also a faery stalking her, so she needs the help of her best friends Sarah and Nick so she can take down the force of evil fey and unverified creatures.

About my prologue

Hey everyone--

My prologue will actually come AFTER the first chapter. It may even come after several chapters because I need to find out what my prologue will sound like. I need to write the book before I come up with a catchy prologue. : )

Right now, I am at my BFF Lizzy's house. I am just updating my blog so you guys know I am not ignoring you. The prologue to Urban Sword is soon to come. I will be posting Chapter 1 shortly afterward. Anyway, just to make conversation, I have some questions in mind that I just HAVE to ask you. You are to give your full opinion.
Question 1: What should the main character's (girl) name be?

Question 2: What should her love interest's (boy of course) name be?

Question 3: What should her best friend's (girl and/or boy) name(s) be?

Names

I am so sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been caught up in school work. Yes, I know, that is the usual excuse for a lot of 13 almost 14 year olds. But trust me, I need to get good grades, so I NEED to do my best at putting my school work before my blog.

The Power of Friendship

      Ah... the power of friendship. A very big subject that's worth talking about. I think a friend is someone who hangs around you a little bit in your own froup of friends. A good friend is someone who hangs out with you half of the day at school. A best friend is someone you have sleepovers with and even if you can't see each other that much at school you still make time to see each other before and after school! (LOVE YA LIZZY!)
      A friend is someone whose parents you've never seen before. A good friend is someone whose parents you've only seen very briefly. A best friend is someone whose parents you've seen for the equivalent of one night or over 1,000 times.
      A friend is someone who you just talk to about classes and stuff. A good friend is someone you talk to about girls you don't like. A best friend is someone who you talk to about EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD.

My Inspiration

No, I'm not talking about a thing. I am talking about a living, breathing person who is my inspiration. Someone who wants everything I want. She wants to write, she wants to sing, she wants to act, she just doesn't know she's my inspiration. Yet. And, yes, this person is a girl. A girl who is my age, in my grade (of course) and is one of my best friends... Her name is...
